Damian Burden is a primary-trained teacher with a passion for working with intermediate-aged students, bringing over two decades of experience to Kaikorai Valley College. Since joining the staff in 2002, Damian has been a committed and enthusiastic educator, known for fostering positive relationships and supporting students as they transition through the critical early years of secondary education. His deep understanding of this age group allows him to connect meaningfully with learners, helping to lay strong foundations for their ongoing success.
A proud former student of Kaikorai Valley High School (1994–1998), Damian values the inclusive and diverse environment the College offers. He finds great reward in watching students grow—academically, socially, and personally—from Year 7 through to Year 13. His long-standing connection to the school community, both as a past pupil and dedicated staff member, is a testament to his belief in the value of the Kaikorai Valley College journey.
