Kaikorai Valley College Librarian - Part-Time

We are seeking to appoint a Librarian to join our team at Kaikorai Valley College.

The library is a popular place at our school, so the successful candidate will need to connect effectively with young people. Knowledge of modern library management systems and databases is also an advantage.

The successful candidate will be able to promote the library and foster a love of reading among all students. Our library offers a supportive, welcoming environment where students can develop an appreciation for literature. The library is open throughout the school day, including lunch and break times, and the librarian will be required to cover these periods.

The position will begin as soon as possible, or by negotiation. Working hours will be 20 hours per week during term-time only.

Salary will be determined by experience and qualifications and is subject to the Support Staff in Schools’ Collective Agreement.
