Director of the International Department
Full-time, Permanent position as Director of the International Students.
We seek a Director of International Students to join our team at Kaikorai Valley College. The department is well supported and comprises the Head of ESOL and Dean of International Students, a Homestay Coordinator, teaching staff, and a dedicated teacher aide.
Responsibilities of the Director include:

Effectively administering and managing the international programme.

Providing effective services in recruiting, enrolling, and supporting international fee-paying students.

Promote KVC and its programmes in the international market and organise visits by agents to our school.

Ensuring all international student requirements are met, particularly the Education (Pastoral Care of International Students) Code of Practice.

Working with all relevant stakeholders to ensure all international students receive a quality education and pastoral care.
The role requires international travel to market KVC and attract international students. The school has strong relationships with international agents and schools in various countries; these existing relationships will assist the successful applicant in maintaining and enhancing our strong reputation in the international market.
There will be a teaching component in this role that can be negotiated.
We would prefer a start date for Term 2, but this is negotiable.

Japanese Teacher
Part-time (0.68 FTE), fixed-term (2025) position teaching Japanese.
Kaikorai Valley College is a co-educational school in Dunedin that caters for Years 7 through 13.
We are looking for a passionate teacher to join our team at Kaikorai Valley College. The position involves teaching Japanese to junior, middle, and senior school students.
Our new teacher will:
